Huntington Indiana to Defiance Ohio

Today was a very hot day.  We began early at 6:30am with breakfast.  Most of us were on the road by 6:45am.  Within the first ten miles, we came across a buffalo farm, so of course we had to stop and take photos.  The buffalo calves were so cute also.

Gosh, buffalos are BIG!

Unless, it's a buffalo calf...

These quilt mosaics are very common in Iowa and Ohio.

Patriotism is strong in this area.  So many American Flags!

I have never seen a "Church" Road sign.  I saw many today.

This burm house was unique.  Notice the stove pipe coming out of the ground.  I bet it was nice and cool inside.  I wanted to knock..... but kept pedaling instead.

I am officially welcomed into Ohio!

It was nice to begin riding so early.  By the time I arrived in Defiance, it was in the mid 90's, but even hotter with the reflection off the asphalt.  I rode 60 miles today and it felt great.  I just kept my wheel's spinning.

It was nice to cross into Ohio.  Many of us agreed that the part of Indiana that we saw was beautiful country.

We ride into Bowling Green Ohio tomorrow.  It is only 47 miles and we are all wondering if there will be hills.

Text or email me.  I would love to hear from all of you.  (360) 461-1376 cell or rhondalinrose@yahoo.com.
